Rewrite[edit]

I think this page could do with a re-write. Maybe renaming it to like "Squeezebox (Network Music Player)" and then making the page just about the squeezebox line of players with other pages for things like the Transporter/SLIMP3 which, whilst made by Slim Devices, are not Squeezebox products. This reads like an advertisement. I think it should be re-written to state the bare facts of what 'Squeezeboxes' are and perhaps list the various types, minus the marketing fluff. I agree with Howyp that Transporter should be a separate page. Thoughts? --Gankomon 09:52, 23 October 2009

The Squeezebox is a wifi radio receiver/network music player (or whatever). Wouldn't it be more appropriate to incorporate this article within the generic articles for these devices?124.121.222.217 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:03, 4 November 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Updates to terminology[edit]

SlimServer is now Squeezebox Server and SqueezeNetwork is now MySqueezeBox.com - these should probably be repaired in this article. I am a little hesitant to do so myself because I have never updated an article before. If somebody else doesn't then maybe I'll work up the nerve to do it myself here in the next few days... Need to mention successor[edit]

After reading this article one is left with impression that Logitech are ceasing manufacture of all internet radio, but they are not, apparently. Need to mention what the replacement product is.
