About Sri Devananda Gaudiya Math[edit]

There is an independent book written about the subject article. The Hare Krishna Movement by the Gaudiya Vaishnavas started from Nabadwip - the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu - where Sri Devananda Gaudiya Math is situated, this Gaudiya Math is known as “the mother of the Gaudiya Maths” , it was founded by Bhakti Prajnana Kesava Goswami, a disciple and follower of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura and a Krishna follower brother and notable friend A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada- who founded ISKCON.
