This reminds me strongly of a worldview focused strongly on Sri Lanka, which allows for a detailed description but feels lacking in objectivity. Perhaps a few changes to offset nationalism or glorification, or if this is such a grand achievement perhaps comparisons to other nations that later developed a similar model based on Sri Lankas example might be included.

An excellent start at an article that I believe will flourish as people drop by and proofread it, or add information on its consequences. An interesting topic, and extremely relevant to many debates at the moment. Learn something new every day! One point: where it says "Some drug prices dropped by half or two-thirds", by "dropped by two-thirds", do you mean the same thing as "dropped to a third of the original price"? Because earlier in the same paragraph it is mentioned that imported drugs were bought at a third of the normal price a year earlier. 09:46, 30 November 2005 (UTC) (Skittle)
