A Section for Cardinals Minor League Player of the Year: Why is this an inappropriate inclusion?[edit]

Alright, I put in a section Cardinals Minor League Player of the Year, not simply for Matt Adams, and not to be over-censored. I have added his only at this time as I intend to add the other winners from other years, so it is not only about Matt Adams, because this is an appropriate section to include. So unless it is truly not in keeping with Wikipedia standards (which it totally appears appropriate), I would like those changes reverted and the section left alone or enhanced. Thanks. I think other editors, myself included, feel that if the player already has a stand-alone Wikipedia article -- as Matt Adams does -- then the information about the minor league player of the year more properly belongs in that location. Now in an instance where a player doesn't have a stand-alone Wiki and is still located in a subection of the St. Louis Cardinals minor league players article, then perhaps info about them being honored as Player of the Year should be in that subsection and not as some sort of additional list of names of all winners past, present, future. Just myself, I've always thought of the main artcle as sort of an "incubator" for future stand-alone articles. For example, it was pretty evident early on that Oscar Taveras was going to be a future star in the Cardinals organization barring trade or injury. However for awhile it wasn't possible to justiffy his own Wiki so a subsectiion in the "minor league players" article made a convenient place to include info on him and help build an article until he did meet criteria for a stand-alone. Hope that makes sense. Sector001 (talk) 03:32, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That explanation now makes sense. I wanted to add the section to allow faster searching for the recipients of that award, instead of having to Google or Wikipedia search for individual player's pages. I want to add also, the first editor who reverted my changed alarmed me in the lack of an explanation, which led to me access his user talk page. On that page, he/she has responded causticly toward other editors, lacked regard for reasons accompanying the changes, and engaged in editing wars, which are all not in good keeping with professional editing. So, just by that amount of evidence, I find it very difficult to respect that editor's work or motivations for editing, or why this editor is still even allowed to edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elcid.ruderico (talkcontribs) 04:18, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There is already a place for that award at the St. Louis Cardinals award winners and league leaders page. Spanneraol (talk) 04:34, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yankees10, so nice of you to join the party. Alright, Spanneraol, thanks for the tip. I'll add Adams' name in there, and any others as I find as that section could use some updating.
