Is the author certain the name was changed to "St. Paul Open Invitational?" It doesn't quite make sense since the two mean different things. Fschneid001 (talk) 12:54, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, look at Raymond Floyd's PGA Tour page here. Lots of tournaments were "Open Invitationals" in that era - part of the PGA's attempt to keep black players out of their tournaments even after giving them membership. Tewapack (talk) 16:05, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
