• Stanislovas Rapalionis - three English language ghits.
• Stanislaw Rafajłowicz - zero English language ghits.
• Stanislaw Rafajowicz - two English language ghits.
• Stanislaus Rapagelanus (with the word "theology" added to screen out non-English sources) - fourteen English language ghits.

Personally I think that

• Rapagelanus, which gets seven hundred twenty seven hits overall, and somewhere in the neighborhood of forty English language ghits is the appropriate name.

Most popular name is obviously Lithuanian one

First of all move form proper Lithuanian name Stanislovas Rapalionis/Rapolionis to ill construct Rapagelanus is absolutely controversial:

a) There was no single argument provided why this person should be names only by surname rather then name and surname as in majority articles, thus WP:RM had to be taken.

b) So far provided rationale of "somewhere in the neighborhood of forty English language ghits " for Rapagelanus is completely false. I checked those google hits I found only few English languages which use such name, of course not even close to "somewhere in the neighborhood of forty English language ghits ". I did my best not to miss not even single one, even listed publication which uses name in footnotes:

So only 9 English sources are using Latin "Rapagelanus" as primary name. While Lithuanian variants of Rapolionis/Rapalionis as primary in English sources are 15. it is clear cut which name is much more popular:

This clear cut that the move without proper rationale is controversial, and provided so called rationale for such move is misleading saying least. And the most popular name is obviously Lithuanian. Thus reverting back this. M.K. (talk) 10:42, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

There is no most popular name

I looked him on Google books. Frankly, I don't think there is a clearly most popular name. I looked at frequency his name is mentioned with his date of birth, and words theology and Lithuanian, and the results are very similar. Seeing as he is an important figure for the Lithuanian history and culture, might as well go with the Lithuanian spelling, I guess. --_{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here} 00:43, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
