Many thanks DeFacto, on the editorial history I have put a link to the page from which material was transferred, which I hope provides the necessary 'paper trail'.Barabbas1312 (talk) 07:49, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

St George and the Dragon[edit]

Some folks have been changing references to the late Queen to refer to the new King. In many instances, that’s fine. In the caption under the photo of St George and the Dragon, it refers to the King and then makes reference to "her" (plainly referring to the Queen) in what is quite obviously an instance of blind, sloppy editing where someone was changing just "Queen" to "King" without considering other related words. The question is, however: Does the King indeed use that same emblem as his own? The text nearby says he does, but my gut tells me someone was just rushing to change references. I’m reluctant to edit this part of the text (other than the clearly erroneous caption) lest I make it more incorrect than it already is. 1995hoo (talk) 11:35, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@1995hoo, I'm sure it was the Queen's mascot, and have reworded the section to reflect that. -- DeFacto (talk). 20:40, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
