Citation request[edit]

I added a request for citation after the sentence "The current circulation is 68,700 daily and 88,300 Sunday." Current as of what date? --Horse Badorties 19:46, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added the citation myself. --Horse Badorties 23:29, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the uncited claim that the Advance was among the first businesses on Staten Island to use "commercial telephones and electricity." --Horse Badorties (talk) 02:27, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The only is the Largest and the Smallest[edit]

As this is the only daily newspaper it is both the smallest and the largest, by circulation--and any other measure you choose to use, so isn't it kinda silly to say it's the largest when it's also the smallest?

It is the only daily newspaper published in the borough and the largest by circulation

pronunciation[edit]

We should mention the correct pronunciation of Advance. --Jeremyb (talk) 15:15, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
