The article Stellar (payment network), along with other pages relating to blockchain and cryptocurrencies, is designated by the community as a contentious topic. The current restrictions are:

Enforcement procedures:

Editors who violate any listed restrictions may be blocked by any uninvolved administrator, even on a first offense.
An editor must be aware before they can be sanctioned.

With respect to any reverting restrictions:

Edits made solely to enforce any clearly established consensus are exempt from all edit-warring restrictions. In order to be considered "clearly established" the consensus must be proven by prior talk-page discussion.
Edits made which remove or otherwise change any material placed by clearly established consensus, without first obtaining consensus to do so, may be treated in the same manner as clear vandalism.
Clear vandalism of any origin may be reverted without restriction.
Reverts of edits made by anonymous (IP) editors that are not vandalism are exempt from the 1RR but are subject to the usual rules on edit warring. If you are in doubt, contact an administrator for assistance.

Edited factually incorrect statements. Added previous section on application/design, as it is notable and verified by prestigious third party sources. Overcomplicated language[edit]

Money is transfer of value. Only governments can create money. Any other "created money" , digital(bank credits), Stellar, Bitcoin etc. is worthless at the end because there is zero value behind it. (maybe there is zero gold in the treasuries too but that is another topic) I expect wikipedia to make this clear and not let Stellar confuse people on this page. 70.71.229.46 (talk) 02:00, 1 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fork[edit]

I have removed "systemic issues" reference bcoz according to ripple there is no such issues. Evidences suggest they are right because Ripple still works just fine and Stellar made lots of changes to code prior to this fork. See ^[1] ^[2] ^[3] ^[4]. I understand that the wikipedia is not for such details but plz don't allow false news into it.

Ukraine[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians. I added a link to the corporate law of Delaware in the introductory paragraph, like so: Delaware . I note this because it may be considered politically-tense, as Delaware is often noted as an onshore tax haven in the United States. As such, I thought transparency was prudent.
