Stamens[edit]
The photograph seems to show at least several stamens. However Parnell and Curtins (2012) indicate "usually 3".Osborne 19:12, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

The names "maruns" and "craches" for this plant[edit]
These alternative names seem to be dictionary-only words, not actually found in real use. Anyone know more about them? Equinox ◑ 18:25, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
Petal-less flowers[edit]
Books and resources state that some flowers have no petals, however all plants that we have examined have had petals. Could this be confused due to flowers that have smaller petals or flowers that have already gone to seed, or confused with var. apetala which is now considered to be a separate species itself?E Wusk (talk) 19:36, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
List of chemicals[edit]
Is having a list of chemicals a useful contribution to this article? It seems to me that one could list all sorts of things (including all the other chemicals that are presumably in it), but without a purpose, maybe the article would be better without it. E Wusk (talk) 07:25, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
