I'll do the reviewing of this article. I'll get started sometime soon (15-30 minutes).

Overview[edit]

Things are mostly good. I'm using the template below to do this review as it is a lot easier.

Text[edit]

  • Are all of his siblings dead? If not this should be in present tense (are vs. were).
  • Colbert children- When reading this you assume that the article means Stephen Colbert's children, not his siblings.
  • "In interviews, Colbert has described his parents as devout..." would read better as "In interviews, Colbert describes his parents as devout...".
  • Fourth paragraph about plane crash- This reads rather oddly. I'm not sure if this is a BRITENG or something else. (What is this written in American English? I can't really tell.

  7. Overall:
Pass or Fail: Updating this after I posted it.  Done

Comments[edit]

Breadth of Coverage: Any thought to having a section of the article listing critics comments on his work? I know his White House Correspondents' Dinner was not well-received. Also, although I personally enjoyed his 2010 Congressional testimony and thought that it was worthy of "C-Span 1", there were a number of critical reviews.
