Untitled[edit]

I am the subject of this Wikipedia entry. The service says that details in the entry require sources. My challenge is that details from the 1970s, '80s and even the early '90s are recorded only on paper. Even the Overseas Press Club lists awards on its Web site only back to 1998. (My award was six years earlier.) What to do? Should I take photos of newspaper clips and award certificates and post them on Flickr? I'd welcome any suggestions.Sbaker8380 (talk) 12:54, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

editing my page[edit]

I'm starting to work on my own page to bring it into line with Wikipedia standards and improve its quality. I will be making changes over the next several weeks. I would appreciate any guidance from more experienced editors. (I'm new at this) Sbaker8380 (talk) 16:01, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reorganizing page[edit]

I'm going to add some sub-heads to reorganize page so that it conforms to the Wikipedia standard for people articles.Sbaker8380 (talk) 15:07, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

adding citations[edit]

I'm adding 10 citations today, links to factual claims in the article. The goal is to get rid of the banner on top of the page (which points out that the page lacks citations).Sbaker8380 (talk) 18:24, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removed BLP banner[edit]

I removed the BLP banner. I had added 10 citations to the page, addressing the deficiencies noted in the BLP banner. If anyone sees other factual assertions still in need of citations, please let me know and I'll try to hunt them down.Sbaker8380 (talk) 21:04, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Added material on two books[edit]

I added a summaries of The Numerati and Where Does it Hurt? and added citations for both. I also removed the reference to my unpublished novel, Donkey Show. Someone must have culled that detail from my blog, but it doesn't seem appropriate for Wikipedia, at least to me. (Will be thrilled to add it once the manuscript is published). I also added my wife's last name. If any of these edits seem inappropriate or lacking, please let me know. Sbaker8380 (talk) 14:26, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
