Lede[edit]

Professorship[edit]

The London Gazette citation for Adams' OBE lists him as "Professor Stewart Sanders Adams",[1] yet obituaries (including Nottingham's[2]) - and the RSC citation on the blue plaques[3] - refer to him as "Dr." Which is correct?
