BBC source[edit]

This appears to contradict the timescales shown in the article which come from the Telegraph. JRPG (talk) 12:43, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lede[edit]

Almost the entire lede is about Ibuprofen ("NSAIDs work by blocking the cyclooxygenase enzyme", indeed), not Adams. What's the best way to fix that? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:13, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Professorship[edit]

The London Gazette citation for Adams' OBE lists him as "Professor Stewart Sanders Adams",^[1] yet obituaries (including Nottingham's^[2]) - and the RSC citation on the blue plaques^[3] - refer to him as "Dr." Which is correct?
