Building name[edit]

The name of this building is the Stoll Bottling Works. That is the listed name on the nomination form for the National Register of Historic Places, but the National Register lists it as the Stoll Building Works. I used the actual name for the article and when referring to the building. I placed the incorrect name in the infobox because that is the official name on the Register. Stoll BW & Lindy's pop[edit]

I read an article recently that claimed Lindy's was bottled by the Coca-Cola facility in Boone. I was under the impression that Lindy's was bottled at the Stoll facility. Does anyone have more info on this? Thanks! THX1136 (talk) 17:03, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think I got the answer to the above question. In looking at the information cited in the second reference of the article, an owner with the last name of Linderblood was involved here and with the Coca-Cola bottling facility in Boone. It would make logical sense that Linderblood came up with his own 'brand' of soft drink, naming it Lindy's referring to, perhaps, his nickname. This may have occurred when he was involved with the Coco-Cola facility as the dates align with this assumption. Still may be up in the air, but I think I got closer to the truth of the matter.
