GA Reassessment[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch
As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles' Project quality task force, I am re-reviewing this article to ensure compliance with current good article criteria. I have determined that it doesn't meet criteria for the reasons outlined below and needs a bit of work.

  • Lead section does not adequately cover the article content as per WP:LEAD.
  • There is a large amount of overlap between #Publication History and #Fictional character biography that should be eliminated; we don't need to hear discussions of her origins and marriage repeatedly (my suggestion is to merge the relevant content into publication history and contextualize it with real-world information.)
  • The article is not broad in coverage; there is little in the way of reception information. Even Storm's new-wave punk style is not seriously commented upon. This is a major issue and gap in coverage.
  • Small, stubby or otherwise questionable sections: The one-line "Awards" section and the "Bibliography" section, which probably should be axed (its contents are unclear and due to Wikipedia's use of bibliography for sourcing should be renamed in necessary.)
  • Multiple citation needed templates throughout.

Due to the amount of issues I am boldly delisting the article. Remember that you can renominate any time you feel it meets criteria. I don't watchlist old reviews, so direct any comments to my talk page. Thanks, --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 14:45, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
