Hello,

I propose that this article be totally re-written. There is nothing about the history of the route, the previous owners and what future prospects the railway has. Almost nothing has been written about the actual history of the Strathspey Railway.

I therefore propose that we alter the article to include:

1) History of the Highland Railway's original route to Inverness 2) History of the 'Strathspey Railway' (GNSR) route from Dufftown to Boat of Garten 3) Developments and changes during the pre-grouping era 4) History under LMS/LNER ownership 5) History under British Railways ownership 6) Preservation history 7) Future prospects etc

Any comments?
