Please add citations rather than deleting page[edit]

I realize this article lacks citations -- note that it's already been flagged for this. I did not create the article (I simply edited it), but would appreciate help in adding citations rather than wholesale deletion of the article, as it has been a part of Wikipedia's series of articles on property law for over a decade. Also, please note Wikipedia's own guidelines on edits made in good faith and the potential harm of reverting and edit wars. Hagaland (talk) 07:51, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hagaland, do not re-add uncited material without proper citations. Uncited material, as per WP policy, may be removed at any point. And may not be re-added without a valid ref from an independent, reliable source. Onel5969 TT me 20:59, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Don't shoot the messager[edit]

Please note that I am not the author of any content of this page outside of a few minor edits. (feel free to verify this under page history) This article has been existence in one form or another since 2006, but I have no horse in this game outside of seeing how Wikipedia's own guidelines for conduct and procedure are given due process by other editors. Again, I have contributed no original research to this article. If you feel that someone has contributed original research, that should be talked about with that editor in question. I do want to point out that a lack of citations does not mean that the content is unverifiable. Quoting from Wikipedia:No_original_research: "The prohibition against OR means that all material added to articles must be attributable to a reliable, published source, even if not actually attributed." Please also see Wikipedia:List_of_policies#Deletions for guidance on how to handle content that is considered objectionable. Hagaland (talk) 21:37, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hagaland, learn WP:VERIFY. Onel5969 TT me 02:32, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, did. Note that even deletions have protocols to follow, Onel5969. Process and order go hand-in-hand (just as the Framers intended ;) Hagaland (talk) 07:05, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hagaland, your reference has nothing to do with what we're talking about. Apparently you need a refresher course in verifiability. Here's the key sentence, "All material in Wikipedia mainspace, including everything in articles, lists and captions, must be verifiable.". You should also familiarize yourself with WP:BURDEN.
