Johnny Ball's partner dispute[edit]

Discuss here........ Leaky Caldron 16:08, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aliona was Johnny's original partner NOT Iveta so Aliona needs to be listed as his partner in everything except the couples table & Week 1/2 songs tables not Iveta. --MSalmon (talk) 17:03, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I Got a Woman / Golddigger[edit]

Should we put that the song was arguably a medley of both songs or not? On the one hand, no lyrics. On the other, the drumbeat was unmistakably from Golddigger. Decided to put that here for your deliberation. 86.128.231.64 (talk) 09:56, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fusion[edit]

Hi, do you think that Fusion should be included in the list of highest and lowest scoring dances table for the series since it isn't even a dance style, just two DIFFRERENT dances mixed together? --MSalmon (talk) 14:13, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dani third place[edit]

Why do people keep saying Dani finished in third place when it wasn't announced on the show? --MSalmon (talk) 16:07, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

She was 4th. IP is a troll. Leaky Caldron 16:10, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's not just the IP, other people as well. --MSalmon (talk) 16:11, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Surely, there were no second and third places. Dani and Vincent were definitely fourth. And Louis and Flavia were definitely first. But, unless the BBC decide to reveal the exact telephone vote results (which I think they should do, as with all telephone votes, but am equally sure they won't), we'll never know which couple was third. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:18, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I was saying, we don't know who finished 3rd --MSalmon (talk) 16:19, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)They might be basing it on the fact that there is no official 2nd and 3rd. Therefore that Denise and the Girl Aloud finished joint 2nd. Still, that would still make Dani 4th not 3rd since 3 people were in the final dance off. Dani wasn't. Source for 4th. [1]Leaky Caldron 16:19, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I thought that too. I wish BBC would do a "numpty final scoreboard". But that's not show-biz, I guess. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:25, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Can we try to leave it as it is now, and revert anyone who placed Dani third --MSalmon (talk) 16:23, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Duration of routines[edit]

I think Len told us last night that dances lasted "about 90 seconds". Shouldn't this article, or at least just the main one, give the duration of the dances? Some seemed longer than others, but this would seem unfair. Is there any reliable source? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:22, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Final ratings[edit]

SCD final has viewing figures of 14 million. Highest ever for the show. Span (talk) 23:33, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Change the 4th place elimination to orange to stand out clearer and match the other seasons. GTB3210 (talk) 03:35, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@GTB3210: Could you be more specific, please? GoingBatty (talk) 04:09, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@GoingBatty:In the Couple's section of the article there is a table showing the order of elimination. The box denoting 4th place with Sophie Ellis-Bextor is currently pink but because of the red for eliminated couple's being so pale, it can be difficult to see the difference. A change to orange as seen on the couple's section from Season 11 to 15 will make the difference more clear and pronounced. GTB3210 (talk) 10:11, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Note: as there doesn't seem to have been a fourth-place finish during the season, just a regular elimination, this was not an appropriate change, and has subsequently been reverted. If there is a source for an official fourth-place finish, then it should be added to the article, in which case this would be a valid change, but there isn't one in the article and I can't find one. RFC impacting this page[edit]

Hey! I've recently opened an RFC regarding some of the colours used in the scoring chart for this and several other articles. You can find the discussion here - please feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks! Remagoxer (talk) 01:35, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
