Pyrite Creek[edit]

The article states there were "intentional releases" of waste into the Pyrite Creek. First, I think the results of this waste ought to be added. There exists little to no information about Pyrite Creek, before or after the spillage, online and this information could be significant in illustrating the effects of such waste leakage. From the creek, where did this waste arrive? Who is experiencing the results and how are they being treated in response? I did some quick research and continued reading on source 4 in notes and it explained that the intentional release occurred because they, (by the way, the article doesn't specify who), feared an uncontrollable flood of waste. What the article leaves out, and which is clearly in source four, is that the waste reached nearby schools and neighborhoods and that children played in the brown water uninformed that it was toxic. Possible COI[edit]

I noticed that there was a link to Amazon for Brian Craig's book, so I removed it. There are some IP edits from 2019 that could be by the author or someone associated with the author. Cxbrx (talk) 02:42, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
