50 kV does not seem correct. It is impossible to generate and it would kill instantly the man and everything in a close distance. It must be probably lower than 50 V. Can someone check the information? 85.73.9.129

50kV low-amperage. It's trivial to generate with a flyback coil, and will only kill if the amperage is high, which it won't be in such a device. It is also too low to be incapacitating, according to the stun gun article. Consider that static electricity frequently exceeds 10kV, yet the net charge is low. @Widefox: Other than the sources cited here, the use of electroshock weapons against prisoners in the United States has received plenty of news coverage. Are the sources cited in this article still not adequate? Jarble (talk) 19:04, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
