Sub7even[edit]

Sub7 can also mean a german rock band called Sub7even... see german wiki: de:Sub7even —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.115.140.220 (talk) 22:00, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Administrative tool And Security[edit]

I would like to use the Sub7 as an administrative tool but it is considered a virus by my antivirus program in my network. How do I make it go undetected? I've used an exe packer but it did not work and I don't know how to properly configure my anti virus to ignore it. I'm using AVG free edition. Perhaps the article should include information or links that provide information on how it may be stealth. Also, how secure is sub7 as an administrative tool assuming one sets a 20 character ASCII password of random sequence capital/lowercase and numerical characters? Can it be easily cracked or would this be sufficient as an administrative tool? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.112.193.61 (talk) 16:41, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Admin tool, eh?[edit]

Buddy, if you don't know how to stop your AntiVirus software from complaining about Sub7, you should not be using it for "administrative" purposes. You shouldn't even being administrating any system but your own. 84.58.94.213 14:37, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sub7-2.15.png[edit]

Image:Sub7-2.15.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Missing info[edit]

What's the release date of the first version? What's the release date of the last version? What operating system did it work on? The network I use has a proxy server that blocks Sub7 website so I cannot add this info myself. 193.188.12.15 (talk) 07:12, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
