In the Tidewater, Va, area during the early 70’s, Sugarloaf got a lot of FM air play with their Green Eyed Lady song. But it was the album cut “Tongue In Cheek” that was the real hit at the parties, especially if you had the long version. Today our local classic rock station spins Green Eyed Lady on a regular basis, but it’s almost impossible to hear Tongue In Cheek. In fact, the DJ’s are not old enough to remember it. Quite a shame because to me it’s their best effort.

This fails to mention that James O Thompson was the original drummer, and still is an awesome one. I have the ablbum with that photo and it's very rare. Also James Thompson was the road manager for Van Halen and Head East. Go DAD!

Don't Call Us, We'll Call You[edit]

There appears to be a REDIRECT problem with the article about the 1975 song by Sugarloaf. If you want to read about the song, you get redirected back to the main page of this article. Bob Yeazel[edit]

The member info on Bob shows 1973. I thought he was on the Spaceship Earth album which contained the tune "Tongue in Cheek" which is dated 1971. As I do not have detailed knowledge of the group I was wondering if this is an error or if my remembrance is. Thoughts?THX1136 (talk) 15:12, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
