COI[edit]

This article has been heavily edited by a user whose sole contributions in the three months his or her account has existed are to this article and the company headed by this individual. Close connection to the subject is suggested by the user's uploading a photograph of the subject under claim of "own work." Accordingly, the article could use review to ensure neutrality, particularly as the contributor has a history of removing sourced content without explanation in spite of multiple warnings. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:54, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Volunteering to review the contents[edit]

Looks like there are certain issues with the article regarding COI and the content policy. I shall be taking up this article to clean up according to Wikipedia content policy. I shall be slightly slow in doing it, still must be able to do justice. --Ch.th (talk) 20:13, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have completed the editing of this page. In case anybody wants to update grammar or beautification, please feel free.--Ch.th (talk) 10:32, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

COI2[edit]

Not confident with overall removal of puffery WP:PUFF. Re-applying the following tags - Advert, Cleanup-PR, and COI via WP:TWINKLE. -Hatchens (talk) 16:59, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Prolix, Can I have your opinion on this article? Earlier, I tried to remove as much as puffery. But, I still have my own doubts. - Hatchens (talk) 05:44, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
TheAafi, you can also join in here to assess this page. Let me introduce you to Prolix. Prolix is an unbiased/neutral editor with a specialization in South Asian pages. And, Prolix ... please meet TheAafi, a seasoned Wikipedia editor (also a fellow AfC review/New page reviewer) from India whose astute observation and reasoning is quite remarkable. - Hatchens (talk) 08:58, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hatchens, I also feel that this article needs more copyediting but my bad, I'm really very bad in this.Who do you think has the COI here? ─ The Aafī (talk) 10:25, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
TheAafi, copyediting is a must. COI; a couple of editors... can't zero down per se (until and unless we deploy EIA tool). Can you just help in whether this entity passes WP:GNG as per WP:RS? Because I'm still getting accustomed to South Asian RS links. - Hatchens (talk) 12:47, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hatchens, I guess no. Seen few reliable sources like this, this but they're all unhelpful. The sources altogether are about someone else from his family like this and Sumant has been mentioned there as "so and so". ─ The Aafī (talk) 12:56, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hatchens, article needs some mild copyediting but otherwise doesn't read much like an advert or press release. Subject is certainly notable, I was able to find multiple articles relating to the topic: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
I haven't checked the current citations on the page but the ones I linked certainly prove that the article passes WP:GNG. Hope this helps. Prolix 💬 13:26, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Prolix, thank you very much. Your insight and TheAafi's insight... both are important for me. I'm just going to build a wiki table out here... to analyze this page. This activity I am doing for my own learning purpose w.r.t. South Asian pages. Please bear with me on this and guide me if I'm making any mistakes in my analysis. - Hatchens (talk) 13:30, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I guess entity clearly passes WP:GNG, only a copyediting is required. TheAafi, Prolix... what you guys think? -Hatchens (talk) 13:53, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hatchens, wholeheartedly agree. Shouldn't be too much work to get the article in shape. Some of these citations could be used in the article to expand it in the process. Prolix 💬 13:58, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hatchens, Prolix, I've trimmed few things from the article and removed some unhelpful sources; I too agree with above sources being significant. Best. ─ The Aafī (talk) 14:06, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
TheAafi, and Prolix - Thank you once again for your kind support. I accept my fault for misjudging this entity. For me, this page was always an "on the fence" kinda scenario as I did a bit of copyediting work (on this page) in September 2020 but still some doubt arose due to my recent experience as an AfC reviewer. Thank you once again. I'm removing the maintenance tags. - Hatchens (talk) 14:11, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hatchens, that is what discussion is about right? I've made countless mistakes and errors here too but they're all an opportunity to learn! Good day Prolix 💬 17:50, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
