Seems defunct, but not sure[edit]

One thing that I'm not really sure about is if this flophouse is still in operation. The most recent source I could find stated that all residents had to stay in 239 Bowery in 2014 because of recent developments. I would imagine everyone has left by now, but I'm not sure. The reason I'd like to know is because if it's no more then we can write "The Sunshine Hotel was" and include Category:Defunct hotels in Manhattan. If anyone knows or could provide a source for its current status that would be great. If not, then I guess we could just wait for some source to report it.
