I am interested in the fact that the article mentions a bid by Woolworths to take over the Karabar store, but there is no mention of a Karabar store in the list of outlets. Has it been closed? Trevar (talk) 00:52, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Karabar Supabarn was a franchise store however Supabarn had little to do with it besides listing it as one of their outlets. The last time I visited it, it carried the old green and yellow 'shield' Supabarn logo, didn't have many of the same specials, had a different uniform and the supermarket was in the old green and yellow colour scheme rather than the charcoal, green and orange they use now.

Supabarn were keen to purchase it, expand it and run it as one of their owned and operated stores, but the owner decided to sell it to another party and it is now operated as an IGA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ry305 (talkcontribs) 02:42, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Former stores[edit]

There is no mention of the "old" Supabarn stores: Kippax, Erindale, Chisholm all of which pre-dated the supposed foundation date of 1991. MartinL-585 (talk) 03:00, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
