Cool. I made this page and didn't even know! I'm part of a project! Tmaull 04:11, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure the STCC and RTCC champioships also use the S2000 spec. Can someone with a rulebook confirm?CafeFroid —The preceding signed but undated comment was added at 02:19, August 23, 2007 (UTC).

Manufacturers[edit]

I think that Manufacturers section now covers only car makes active in rallying. But what about touring cars? There are plenty of other manufacturers who produce and use their S2000 touring cars. In addition, the S2000 specification is much more at home in touring car racing than in rallying, so I consider this wikipedia article confusing. Alfa Romeo, Honda Accord/Civic, BMW M3, Seat Toledo/Leon, Volvo S40/S60 etc. (I'm not going to update the page, since I'm not pretty sure about the details.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.185.233.26 (talk) 10:54, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am only familiar with the Rally side of it, it would be nice if someone could add a touring car section. Tmaull 17:00, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This article has been on my "to be rewritten" list ever since I discovered it. When I get around to doing that, I will be sure to thoroughly cover touring cars. It certainly needs some work. Adrian M. H. 21:06, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Centre differential ?[edit]

I have seen some mentions that (some?) S2000 cars don't have a centre differential [1](does that mean a solid connection or a clutch-type or viscous-type connection ?) Is that on the regulations ? What is allowed ? Rps (talk) 14:19, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, unless regulations have changed, mechanical LSDs (front, centre and rear) are allowed. The Abarth Grande Punto S2000 has such differentials[2] Rps (talk) 14:29, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
