Military use[edit]

.444 Marlin vis-a-vis .44 Rem Mag?[edit]
Not sure of the criteria for a super magnum, but the .444 Marlin many qualify as a super magnum of the .44 magnum, even though its case specs are slightly different besides the length. IIRC, .44 mag cases can be safely fired in guns chambered for .444 Marlin.
