Strange name[edit]

Why not superconducting motors and generators - or just merge into Technological applications of superconductivity ? - Rod57 (talk) 21:20, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What demonstrated and what in operational use[edit]

Much sounds like theory with a few demonstrations. Are any SC motors or generators installed and used operationally ? - Rod57 (talk) 21:30, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ceramics and superconductor junctions[edit]

This sounds wrong - why wouldn't you be able to create superconductor junctions with ceramics? You literally don't have to connect superconductors physically to make a junction, they just have to be close "enough". Making a junction here would probably require sanding down the surfaces of the junction so they're as flat as possible, however it's not implausible. It's not as easy to do as with metals like NbTi but we're not talking "easy" for anything with superconductors. EXine (talk) 08:39, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
