Point of view on masculine features[edit]

She has very masculine qualities. This may lead some to suspect that she is supplementing testosterone or some other form of anabolic steroid in an attempt to increase her muscular gains and maintenance. It is possible that she is just naturally higher in these levels, which may have stimulated her interest in bodybuildering.

I was curious if there was any way we could incorporate the issue into the article without it being NPOV? It is a common thing among women bodybuilders, the labelling of overmasculinity and such things. I'm sure it must be represented in some other wiki that could be linked to... No, it's a relevant issue, especially since in the actual documentary they do discuss women who juice if I remember... it has been several months. I'm sure the issue has a home somewhere on Wiki, like female bodybuilding, or FtM stuff. Tyciol 21:52, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The article should only have factual information about the program - not your own speculation. The statement "she has very masculine qualities" is your own subjective opinion about Joanna, not an informative statement about Supersize She - and as such, it does not belong in the article. Alright, image is interpretive, it's just certain aspects of her face. What is pretty obvious is her voice though. It was very low-pitched. On average, men, having higher testosterone than women, have deeper voices, which is rather well known and accepted. Can this be mentioned? Length of the summary of the movie[edit]

Does this need to be beat-by-beat as it happened? It seems like it should be tagged for being overly detailed - it's incredibly long and a lot of the information seems extraneous Penaltymachines (talk) 13:56, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
