Fair use rationale for Image:Swampthingmovie.jpg[edit]

Image:Swampthingmovie.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

  • Also, please note, This film was also filmed in Honey Island in Louisiana. It mentions it at the end of the film. You might want to add this to the article. - Jack —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.251.31.10 (talk) 14:54, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If a new Swamp Thing film were made would it really be a remake of Wes Craven's Swamp Thing? It would just be a new film adaptation of the character and no more a remake than Batman Begins was a remake of Tim Burton's Batman. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.63.207.181 (talk) 02:39, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jack_

Could Somebody PLEASE write a full-detail plot of the Swamp Thing(1982 film) Because I haven't seen it and I would like to know more about it before I watch it.

Thank You for your consideration.

I am rejecting this as a {{request edit}} because I think you have misunderstood the purpose. If you haven't seen the movie, my guess is that you do not have a COI. Even if you do have a COI, the general process is that you should be providing the text, and asking us to implement it.
As a general request, there are lots of things that need doing in Wikipedia, and asking for something like this on the talk page is recommended. However, it doesn't qualify as a request edit.--S Philbrick(Talk) 18:58, 14 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Tommy Madden linked[edit]

The Tommy Madden that is linked is a former baseball player who passed away long before the movie was even developed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bbonds775 (talkcontribs) 15:54, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

This article is incomplete and is missing a great deal of information on the film's production and release which needs to be added to the article with proper citations for its information. The production section is way too short and needs to be expanded in more detail than what it currently has. The article is also missing information on the film's theatrical release which needs to be added as well. The home media section can be merged into a sub-section of the releases section which has both that and a theatrical release sub-section included as well. The reception section should also be expanded considering the critics and audience members at that time gave the film generally negative reviews and the section will need to reflect this.--Paleface Jack (talk) 17:00, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sean Bonniwell's uncredited involvement[edit]

Sean Bonniwell (Music Machine) has an uncredited role in the film and features prominently in a few scenes and reaction shots (he's at the end of the table sitting next to the dude who turns into a monster at 1hr 06min).
