Comment[edit]

serec is a newly established organization connecting research and industry partners on activities in electromagnetics. It is founded by the Laboratory of Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Electronics at ETH Zurich, one of the most important universities in this field in Europe. In my opinion this article does matter. More than 300 members and dozens of member organizations, including all major government offices think the same.

SerecSwiss Electromagnetics Research and Engineering Centre – The complete title is just official and much easier to understand. Mila Milos 093274 (talk) 19:37, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. If it were not moved, it should be at SEREC as an acronym (per MOS:TM we do not emulate font stylization tweaks in organizational logos). Because this is an organization not familiar to many English speakers, the full name should be used for WP:RECOGNIZABlE and WP:PRECISE reasons, which outweigh WP:CONCISE in such a case.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  02:51, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
