Improvement ideas[edit]
The article could be improved adding a section about implementation answering questions like
- Where has this alogrithm been implemented (which operating systems or special solutions)
- What is required to use this algorithm and how is it enabbled? (Support on one endpoint, support on both endpoints, suport on gateways? Protocol negotion between endpoints?)
- How commonly is this protocl used on today's internet traffic?
- Security issues. e. g. http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-security/cve/2012/CVE-2012-4565.html (This one seems to have nothing to do with the algortihm proper, probably just a programming error, which happened to be in the implementation of this algorithm.)
