Removals and reasons[edit]

the following items were removed from the main article space and can be re-added at the discretion of future authors

  • It is also a motorcycle model, Yahama TDM.
    • there is no existing article target; please re-add once such an article is composed

  • added back "Team Death Match" in a different form Courtland 01:36, July 28, 2005 (UTC)

Shouldn't the Team Death Match be deleted? There are hundreds of shooters with a team death match mode, not only Far Cry. And there ain't no article about TDM's in general (yet).

Don't delete Team Death Match - If TDM is used as an acronym for "Team Death Match" and a person looks up wikipedia to find out what the acronym means, at least they'll see "Team Death Match" as one of the possibilities. Ausvirgo (talk) 09:12, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

TDM's[edit]

This was interesting to read. There certainly are a very unique breed that seems to fit the term TDM (Thieving Druggy Misfit). It makes sence to me.

Time Division Multiplexing[edit]

There are two definitions of TDM as Time Division Multiplexing. The second is under Technology, and is the common technical use of the term. The first definition of Time Division Multiplexing is under Entertainment, and is a proprietary adaption of the common usage to a particular application. There are problems with this first definition:

1) This Disambiguation entry should be under Technology, not Entertainment.

2) The description is overlong for a Disambiguation.

3) The link goes to the page describing the common usage of Time Division Multiplexing.

4) There doesn't appear to be a page describing this particular adaption of Time Division Multiplexing.

I suggest that the Disambiguation entry is removed, and (if necessary) the information added as a note to the Time Division Multiplexing page. JPW59 (talk) 15:12, 7 May 2013 (UTC)JPW59[reply]
