born in Slovakia...[edit]

Does this mean she's really Slovak? The town of her birth has 2005 demographics overwhelmingly Slovak (95%+), so what's the scoop?... --Mareklug talk 05:21, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Czech Republic and Slovakia once constituted Czechoslovakia (until 1992). Hence, if the statement above reflects something along the line of "a contestant born from another country, but representing another" (like Natalie Glebova, Miss Universe 2005), that seems inapplicable because it is taken out of the country's (or countries') historical context. If it just meant to clarify her ethnicity, then such a statement may be relevant. Joey80 08:49, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Note that the contestant from Canada this year was born in Poland. I think there are many other instances.Hektor 09:36, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio ??[edit]

The new text is a cut-and-paste of the Miss World website bio. Is this text free ?Hektor 21:38, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is also word for word the phrasing within this (and other) press stories, apparently released by Associated Press: [1]. At the very least, we should rephrase it. --Mareklug talk 22:27, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We need a photo or two about a person whose sole claim to fame are her looks. Here are a few photos for someone who knows anything about usage policies. --Kizor 05:42, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Miss World Question[edit]

What question did she get when she got to the top 5 in Miss World 2006? From whom was it? How did she answer? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.71.211.66 (talk) 21:26, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
