Not a mountain range article[edit]

this and other Ecozone articles shoudl be dabbed with "(ecozone)" and more specifically "(CEC ecozone); I've removed WP:Mountains and substituted WP:Ecology as "Taiga Cordillera" is not a term used in geography/orography. The citations provided are also POV and peacockish in nature....Skookum1 (talk) 12:57, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Most sparsely populated ecozone[edit]

This is extremely doubtful and the source given in the inline citation does not say this (it does say that only a few hundred people live here, which is highly doubtful as well, there should at least be a few thousand, though I can't verify this). If you look at any population density map, the density of the Northern Arctic and Southern Arctic regions will be even lower than the taiga cordillera. I will remove the "most sparsely populated" statement, but not the "a few hundred" statement, as, although very dubious, the source does state this, and I can't yet find a source to verify my suspicion that many more people than that live here. 1brettsnyder (talk) 20:44, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
