The following statement appeared on the Taja Sevelle page for a lengthy period:

"I am Taja Sevelle and the information below is verifiable by me. I have entered all of the information listed below. Any adjustments to this information are not authorized by me, Taja Sevelle."

Editing of a Wikipedia page by the subject of the page is prohibited. Further the claim of identity does not substantiate the identity of the claimant. Finally, Taja Sevelle - presuming that was indeed who made the edits - does not have the authority to 'authorize' edits to Wikipedia.

Unverifiable content submitted by this user has been removed. CouplandForever (talk) 23:43, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, no. Editing of a Wikipedia page by the subject of the page is not prohibited. However it is discouraged and if done, must be performed with caution. You should review WP:COI. Toddst1 (talk) 14:41, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Prince[edit]

Shouldn't a mention of Prince be included in this article? I believe he contributed to some of her work, or "discovered" her or something.

Need some help editing[edit]

I tried to edit the Taja Sevelle page, but my edits were deleted and I don't know why. I thought I sourced correctly... Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by LackofPies (talkcontribs) 03:43, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
