Takashi Tezuka Says His First Directing Project Was Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRGRJRUWafY&t=6m10s

In a Q&A session posted to YouTube by Eurogamer (Miyamoto on World 1-1: How Nintendo made Mario's most iconic level), Tezuka responded to the question "Which was the most memorable level you've worked on" saying Translated text "For me, the most memorable moment and title is Super Mario 3. It was the first time I was the director of a project and I had multiple roles."

If this is true, it is incorrectly stated in the article that he was the director of both Super Mario Bros. 2 and The Legend of Zelda. Can someone who knows Japanese verify the translation is correct?

I wonder if "and" is the operative word in his quote, assuming that is a legitimate quote. — Smuckola(talk) 02:23, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm thinking this as well, assuming the translation is accurate. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 17:04, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

German Club Nintendo magazine is unreliable[edit]

As if being primary isn't enough, this source had been spreading the most severe falsehoods, like Kensuke Tanabe coming up with the world of Zelda. Avoid at all costs.--ze un fo un 15:49, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Why would we use German sources here anyway? Unlikely they presented something new over Japanese/English ones. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 16:59, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
