This article refers to Frank Robinson as being the "one Robbie coming in" who is referred to in the song. This may or may not be the case and needs a citation.

Frank began his Major League career in 1956 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1982. So he may be the "Robbie" to which Cashman is referring.

But Cashman may also have been referring to Brooks Robinson. Brooks began his Major League career in 1955 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983.

So writing that Cashman is referring to Frank needs a citation.74.98.11.248 (talk) 20:27, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the citation requested and put both of them in. I don't see how there would be a citation here unless Terry Cashman mentions it anyone here but I agree that it could be either Frank or Brooks Robinson. You could argue that this entire list (or at least the ones that aren't listed by full name in the song) is WP:OR but I think this is a reasonable compromise Regoarrarr (talk) 16:39, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
