Kurdish[edit]

History[edit]

At the beginning of the article, the language is called "Talysh language" and "Talyshi" (in the phrase "Talyshi speakers"). At the beginning of the first paragraph in "History" it is called "Tolish" and at the end of that paragraph "Taleshi". Keeping in mind that this is English Wikepedia, someone needs to choose one word to use throughout the article, apart from the variants discussed in the first paragraph in "History".CorinneSD (talk) 22:26, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

clarification needed ![edit]

I don't understand those three "clarification needed" in the two sections. What do you want? Do you expect to have more reliable information than what Abdoli (Iranian, Living in Iran) and Asatrian (Armenian) sincerely said? What specially Abdoli say is very detailed. Often, when there is a "clarification needed" tag, there is a note to other editors that indicates specifically what an editor thinks needs to be made clearer. But that note is visible only when in Edit Mode. Did you see those notes to editors? Click on "Edit" at the top of the section in which the "clarification needed" tag appears. Then use either your "down arrow" or the scroll bar at the right side to scroll down in the section to where you can see the tag. It says "clarify" and the date that the tag was added. There is a question or comment there. On my screen, it appears in light orange (because I enabled wikEd in the Gadgets tab in Preferences). The questions are quite specific. If you can add a few words to clear up the matter, add them. Then, if you think you have clarified it sufficiently, you can carefully remove (i.e., delete) the "clarify" tag and the question/note to editors that appears right after it. If you cannot add anything at the moment, don't change anything. Click on "Cancel" at the bottom of the editing window to get out of Edit Mode. citation needed, clarification needed ![edit]

Most of these "citation needed", "clarification needed" are in vain. The sources of all those corresponding sentences are mentioned at the end of the sentences. Some users break the sentences and put "citation needed" and "clarification needed", as if there is no source. Again, sources are at the end of paragraphs. There is no source other than Abdoli Persian books on the extent of Talyshi, Azeri, Persian in Talysh region. Your fake pan-Turkic state doesn't help Talyshi; Abdoli does in Iran. And believe me, he has been so fair, so fair toward you Turkish invaders!-Raayen (talk) 23:35, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Persian For Sunset.[edit]

The persian word for sunset is 'šām' or 'šāmgāh'. Maqreb is the literary loanword from arabic. On daily basis people say Qorub if they use the arabic loanword.

Native speakers[edit]

The infobox indicates 5,000,000 native speakers, but the linked Ethnologue source states: 68,700 in Azerbaijan (2011 UNSD). Total users in all countries: 226,100. Am I missing something? — Golden ^{call me maybe?} 14:53, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
