History[edit]

I guess this article is very much close to article on Jainism and I believe that most would agree that this needs a real facelift. Instead of explaining what is Jainism and its theology which even the article on Jainism does, this should lay emphasis on history of Jainism in TN or Tamilakam, its literature, probably politics in the past (or even in the present) and the stature of Jains in current Tamil society (not sure if Nainar Nagendran is a Jain- that would probably make a point here too). The article in the current state is good, but I think it needs to concentrate on many more things. Cheers Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 23:03, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Survival and renaissance[edit]

There needs to be a section on how the Tamil Jain community has manged to survive and how there has been a renaissance of some sort due to the contributions of a couple of Tamil Jain scholars and the vihara (wandering) of Jain Aryikas. Malaiya (talk) 02:08, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
