Capitalization of "G" in Grinstead

Does anyone know why the article displays a lower - case "g" for the last name of the subject of the article ? And how can I fix it ? I created this article earlier today. Thanks for your attention.Tara grinstead friend (talk) 22:55, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

Contested deletion

Okay, I've removed the speedy deletion tag. It had been tagged under criteria G4, meaning it was a essentially a repost of an article that had previously gone through a 2005 "Articles for Deletion" process. In its present form (as I write this) with its current lack of sources, the tag was understandable. But the case has received an extraordinary amount of press coverage, both locally and nationally, and much of it since that 2005 AfD process. Reliable source coverage

Okay, here are some additional sources I discovered, just using plain Google. No Proquest search needed, no search of Google News or Google News Archive performed:

At least some of the content from at least some of these sources will have to be introduced into the article, along with corresponding references, of course, if this article is to be retained on Wikipedia. I'd suggest, at a minimum, at least four of the above should be so included. While more sentences would be desirable, having even a couple of sentences that summarize each article or some fact presented in each article, with those sentences having references listed, would be enough.  – OhioStandard (talk) 08:36, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks so much for helping with that. I'm going to study those sources and create some Wikipedia - like passages that summarize them. The only other source I know of that would enhance the article is a Dateline NBC television broadcast that more recently was reedited for a basic cable channel called Investigation Discovery. It is the only source I can find on law enforcement officers' recent approach to the Grinstead mystery. The relatively new approach is that the details of what happened (home was neat and tidy, no sign of struggle, no sign of forced entry, some people said she started a new life voluntarily, etc.) are strikingly similar to the details of another missing woman's case: that of Jennifer Kesse.
Jennifer's article doesn't mention Tara Grinstead. I'm going to find out if clips from this television documentary are on a website. Maybe the clips mention law enforcement officers' awareness of a Grinstead - Kesse parallel. Final details that could belong in the article: one vanished three months before the other, and both lived near the same interstate highway: Interstate 75 that connects Georgia with Florida.Tara grinstead friend (talk) 22:40, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
You're very welcome. I hope the exposure this article provides will help in some way; good on you for creating it. Perhaps I should mention, though, that since this is "the encyclopedia anyone can edit", you'll likely see content included sooner or later that you disapprove of, perhaps content that challenges your view of who might be implicated in the crime, if crime there was. I just want you to be prepared for that. If some living person is named herein as a possible suspect when no charges have beef filed, for example, that would very likely violate our WP:BLP policy, and could be taken to our notice board for such matters.
Re your comments, yes, there's a 30 April 2006 Dateline NBC program listed above; I have the vague recollection that there might (?) have been more than one episode produced by them about the case, or perhaps just different "Dateline" pages that all link to the same video. And although I didn't label it clearly, the very first link above is to an Investigation Discovery page. I think you have enough here to work with, for now, though, so I'm going to remove this article from my watchlist. But feel free to drop me a note on my talk page if you run into obstacles. Title

I think it is uncontroversial that until she went missing, Tara would not have qualified for an article here. Therefore the title of this article should be disappearance of Tara Grinstead. We have good precedent in murder of Sally Anne Bowman and death of Gareth Williams. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:19, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

Renaming since it is now a murder case

I am renaming this Tara Grinstead murder case since with the arrest her fate is known, even if her body has not been found. Daniel Case (talk) 06:54, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
