WW2 survivor, huh? Pretty vague laguage.[edit]

Want to try telling us what side his family fought on, rather than portraying him as a Holocaust survivor? It's pretty goddamn cynical to use that sort of cite for a man who's family was in the UPA, ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN THE HOLOCAUST. Removing this tripe. 2601:1C2:1A00:557:58FD:D2A4:286B:6E07 (talk) 09:13, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please post a RS w/ your claims. It's well known Hunczak was a UPA member, but he was only 12 or 13 years old in 1945, so--- Cononsense (talk) 14:36, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't even know what that is, but I do know it's AT BEST tone deaf and at worst an incredibly cynical misrepresentation to cite a UPA member (the UPA, again, HELPED DO THE HOLOCAUST) as a Holocaust survivor.2601:1C2:1A00:557:58FD:D2A4:286B:6E07 (talk) 19:53, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:BLP - GizzyCatBella🍁 20:23, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There's nothing wrong with the source itself, it's using the source in an attempt to portray a man who's family LITERALLY DID THE HOLOCAUST as holocaust survivors. I would question why the US Holocaust Museum did such a thing, but that's not a discussion for Wikipedia. We don't HAVE to use this cite, and furthermore, I see NO ONE else listed as a "WW2 survivor" on their page. Why just this guy? It starts to get very suspect when (removed potentially harmful text - see WP:BLP- GizzyCatBella🍁 20:37, 27 December 2022 (UTC)). They wouldn't be wrong, but they would also be very misleading! 2601:1C2:1A00:557:58FD:D2A4:286B:6E07 (talk) 20:29, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That unnessesary info (WW2 survivor) was removed by you already. There is no need for further comments on the talk page. - GizzyCatBella🍁 20:35, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
