Weakly support move to "TIM (telecommunications)" - No matter what it moves to, the words in the parentheses would need to be lowercase. But I'm not sure "TIM (company)" would be disambiguated enough to solely apply to this company. Paintspot Infez (talk) 03:09, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
Oppose common name still Telecom Italia (i know sometime TIM was used also as common name). In the official site [1] the interchanging used of Tim and Telecom Italia was still observed. In the Italian company register Telecom Italia S.p.A. is the registered name (as well as Tim as registered short name), and the Borsa Italiana used Telecom Italia. To sum up, many primary source point to Telecom Italia. Such a move need to be prove "Telecom Italia" in the secondary source is the primary common name. I havn't start a full search, but Reuters still used Telecom Italia. Matthew_hk t c 22:36, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
Oppose. This seems based on a common misconception that a change of official name supported by primary sources is sufficient justification for an article name change. Nothing could be further from the truth! Please see the article title policy (as is of course politely requested in many places). Andrewa (talk) 18:00, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
