Requested move 23 April 2015[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: No move for the time being. As was pointed out, disambiguation would serve no purpose unless a separate article was established for the other Telemach company. If that happens, the move can be revisited. Cúchullain t/c 13:36, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

TelemachTelemach B&H – To disambiguate. This article discusses a Bosnian company. There is another notable company named 'Telemach' in Slovenia. --Relisted. EdJohnston (talk) 18:01, 4 May 2015 (UTC) Eleassar my talk 06:45, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Relister's comment: If the move had to be closed now, I think it would be Not moved. The problem is that the sources indicate that Telemach is "the leading alternative cable provider in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovenia and Montenegro." One company in several countries. But the present article only lists TV services for cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. And the Telemach League is located in Slovenia. Does a Bosnian company sponsor a Slovenian league? I don't see any solution that doesn't require changing the article content to address the multi-country nature of this outfit. EdJohnston (talk) 18:00, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: The company Telemach in Slovenia (a frequent subject of intense political debates) is not the same company, but has since 2009 the same owner (Mid Europa Partners). It was established by some private companies in 1999 and quickly grew to become the largest Slovene cable operator. The company Telemach BiH was established by Mid Europa in 2010 with the merger of the cable operators Elob, BH Cabel Net in Global Net. Therefore, these are two different companies. --Eleassar my talk 10:50, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose until there is actually an article on the Slovenian company. Otherwise the disambiguation is pointless. Number 57 12:50, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I'll put together something this week. --Eleassar my talk 09:09, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
