World War II[edit]

So far, I have not found any reference that states that Fireman Second Class (how would that be abbreviated (haven't found a rate called Fireman)) Trinidad had fought during World War II. It can be inferred that if he retired to Cavite and lived until 1968 that he was there during the Invasion, Occupation, and Liberation of the Philippines in World War II. However, I cannot find a reliable source reference that states that he was a combatant, uniformed, guerrilla, or otherwise. It is entirely possible that he could have still been in service, or a retired civilian Department of Navy employee during the invasion, however that itself is speculation only. --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 23:44, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Spoke to a retired PO1 who informed me the rate Fireman was amalgamated into the rate Damage Controlman. However, still no reliable sourced references have been found involving the subject's World War II activities.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 23:39, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
