Article is dissatisfying[edit]

This article is by far dissatisfying. For example: How about the history of TV in Brazil? How many TV-channels were there in Brazil in the 1950s? When was the first Brazilian TV-Satelite launched? etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.78.45.118 (talk) 23:47, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

South Africa is testing the same platform as the one used by both the Brazilians and Japanese federal governments. My concern is that this platform has met so many criticism as compared to the DVB-T/DVB-T2. How successful or unsuccessful will it be,especially in promoting local media content? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.211.61.202 (talk) 07:48, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And, as I write to edit the history, I have added the "early years" section, because it only compares to the Portuguese version. Like I said before, there are 14 free-to-air television networks in Brazil, as well as cable and satellite channels broadcasting around the country. My problem is, the article here on Wikipedia is so unsatisfied. ExpandD2003 (talk) 09:37, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problems[edit]

The article relies too much on and in some cases copies directly from: http://www.museum.tv/eotvsection.php?entrycode=brazil -- Beland (talk) 17:56, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly, I was thinking the same Beland. This link does not work, nor has any information. Whoever included it can either find better references or find the real source with the content? Otherwise, I would say the article could be null since we don't know where it all came from... Thanks, Zalunardo8 (talk) 16:21, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nationwide channels[edit]

I live in the Brazilian state of Paraná. This TV Aparecida channel isn't a thing here, nor is RedeTV. I've lived in São Paulo previously, and while RedeTV was there, TV Aparecida wasn't either. I'm not sure if these two places are just the exceptions to the rule of the two channels being nationwide, or if they're actually just regional, but it might be worth checking, somehow. 189.76.49.102 (talk) 02:42, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Additional information is missing[edit]

When the previous edit was revised, it could be add an extra information. Will you edit the history of network television in Brazil? ExpandD2003 (talk) 05:10, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
