Needs work[edit]

This article contains very little regarding the history and development of private (non RAI) TV in Italy and seems to confuse it with cable TV. No mention of the unregulated period from the 1970's untl the 1990's. Also no mention of the German language services in South Tirol/Tyrol, The 1970's relays of Yugoslav TV or the decision to adopt PAL rather than SECAM as originally planned. Very little mention is made of pre WW2 TV or the unusual arrangments for News on RAI (different political parties assigned different channels) which existed prior to the 1990's 213.40.221.114 (talk) 01:32, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
