What do you do with an article like this?[edit]

I found this interesting but it is almost certainly original research, a labor of love maybe. There is a lot of work in bringing it up to an acceptable standard, and you would destroy the flow of the piece in the process. How do you improve it?--Weasel tango (talk) 07:28, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I am making a start by wikilinking what I can, and pruning out some of the handwaving Elinruby (talk) 23:48, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removed text[edit]

  • "A person who can not live without using his or her mother tongue makes his or her speech more meaningful and forceful by using a proverb. A large size of people of a given language cannot continue their speech unless they provide vigor to their communication by shooting proverbs time to time." - strikes me as a vague transitional phrase that probably isn't true any (it claims ALL). If the text conveys useful meaning to someone that is not currently in the article, AND you can reference it, then it can go back in. Elinruby (talk) 23:48, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The division is basically belongs to the art forms, as literature is vital in the folk theatre therefore the division should invariably be included in the classification of Telugu folk literature." - appears to be just a very pompous way of saying that Drama is Literature and I think most people have already processed this Elinruby (talk) 04:52, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

lede[edit]

As far as I can tell the current lede makes a number of generalizations that are probably indefensible but says nothing of substance about the actual topic. Could somebody please re-write it? I am just a wikignome doing wikilinks and know nothing about this topic. Thanks. Elinruby (talk) 02:24, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
