This is a very efficient and effective article. It would be nice, however, to have a verbal description of what the temple may have looked like. While the floor-plan is helpful, it would help create a better mental image if it could also be described in writing. If concrete information about this does not exist, it would be nice to at least have an explanation of what a typical temple from this time and style would have looked like. For example, was there a pediment? Were there sculptures in this temple? etc. Also, any information on how the public would have interacted with the temple would also be interesting. For example, sacrificial practices, civic events centered around the temple, or even the responsibilities of the priests. Also, is there any information on how one became a priest at this temple? This may be similar or the same as becoming a priest in Rome, but if so, it would be nice to point that out. Overall, this article is well written and organized and provides a lot of good information.

This article summarizes Pompeii and describes the Capitoline Triad pretty well. I doubt much information is available, but if possible, you could strengthen this article by focusing more on the Temple of Jupiter itself. Information on who worshiped in this temple, religious rites, and what could be achieved by visiting the temple would all be relevant and useful to a student. More description of the temple's aesthetics should be included as well and may be easier to find than descriptions of religious events. My final suggestion would be to note what is relevant for the fifth link--a lot of information is on this website but what do you want the reader to see? Perhaps, if you re-name the link with the relevant section, that would be useful to readers. Again, this is well-written and clear. I just think you should focus more narrowly on the temple itself. Who commissioned the construction of the temple? Were objects of veneration or artwork/murals/wall paintings placed inside? How was the temple used, or not used? Could you provide any links to recent pictures of the temple? Could you talk a bit more about the social conditions of Pompeii at the time the temple was in use..who had access to it? If you could address a few of these questions I think that your article will be on track. Jessica B.

I think you have written a very clear article that flows smoothly. You might consider including subheadings however, in order to sharply focus the reader and guide him/her through the information. Additionally, can you add a photo of how the temple looks curently. Since it's in Pompeii, can you find any relevant information on what specific artifacts remain relating to the temple. I also agree with the others that a physical description would enhance the article. Also, you might want to create an internal link from your citations to your work cited, and did you remember to use a primary source? Overall, I feel it is well written with great detail on historical background, but may need just a little bit more specific detail relating to the physical aspects of the temple. --P. Pacult
