This article is very well researched. There seem to be many solid references. It is difficult, however, to get a comprehensive sense of the temple from this article because there are so many direct quotes. It would be much more helpful if you paraphrased the quotes so that they fit more coherently with the rest of the content. I think it is wonderful that you have so many references, but I would appreciate more synthesis on your part so as to provide a clearer picture of the temple for the reader. However, I especially enjoyed your description of the styles and architectural history of the building. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mina7 (talkcontribs) 00:57, 15 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I agree. Very well researched, however I think that you should provide some frames of reference for the Flavian dynasty. Also, who used the temple, was it strictly for the use of the imperial family? Also, could you provide links to credible websites so that the reader can learn more info about the temple?

Perhaps you could also use a simplified diction that does not harp upon the vocabulary of highly knowledgeable scholars in the Classics. After all, Wikipedia is used by all types of people all over the world, and the language should faciliate comprehension of the article at the most basic level of understanding.

This is a very complete article. My only suggestion is to include a section on who used this temple. I agree with Jessica that you should explain if women, slaves, freedmen, citizens, equites, emperors (etc) used this temple. Also, is this temple simply for the benefit of the family dynasty, or did it serve any other functions? Finally, you probably need to include a website since I think this is one of the components for our grades. Your article is well-written and well-presented for the reader. Trixie L

I think this is a very nice article. The organization makes it very easy to read and understand. I have two main suggestions: 1) This article is very sharp and concise and to the point, but it may be too concise. Perhaps you could elaborate on some of the information you have posted, although I sympathize with the difficulty of finding a lot of details. 2) I agree with the previous comments in that I would like to see more information on the role of the temple in Rome, such as who worshipped there, whether or not Vespasian and Titus were revered by everyday Romans, etc. Overall, though, I think this is a great article. Great job on finding so many sources. (The only other thing, although it may be unnecessary, is that you may want to say that the temple is in Rome itself. You do say it's in the Roman Forum, but most Roman towns have a forum, so I didn't know if you thought it would be helpful to be more specific.) Sydney

blue spot[edit]

The blue spot on the map is not at the right place (must be nearer to Capitol hill). Ursus from fr:wikipédia, August, 4th 2012 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.144.219.224 (talk) 13:39, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
